Greek Letters in Microsoft Word 2004

i need an upper and lower case sigma.. the crazy E (summation symbol) and the little o with a tail (variance symbol). please help i need them for an assignment due soon, in the meantime i'll return to the google.


EDIT: (ever since George W. was quoted saying "once in a while i get on a computer, use the google.." i refer to it as the google.. with a George W. accent. Try it some time.)

Use your Character Palette (SysPrefs > International > check Character Palette). View All Characters > European Scripts > Greek. Plenty of symbols there. A brilliant resource.

i went sys preferences>international>input menu>checked Character Palette

now what?

ah ok, figured it out.

gives you the little flag in the upper right to switch between enabled alphabets. that is a very useful tool.

search: microsoft word greek letters
you get 201,000 results

there is no reason to start changing your preferences or anything...just use a different font
