Connecting to wireless PLEASE HELP!!

Hello, I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium. I want to connect to the internet via a wireless BT modem. Any ideas how I can do that? I've been to an Apple store and they sold me an AirPort Extreme Card which didn't even fit into my PowerBook. I thenwent back and they told me to go to normal computer store and get a USB wireless dongle. I did that and was told that none of them work with Apples...now what do I do? Please help!!!
