Keeping my new iMAC cleaned up.

Hello, I hope someone might have some good advice for me.

I just switched to a new 24"imac. i am used to windows where i have to make sure to clean out temp folders and delete internet cookies etc. Is there anything like this that i will have to maintain every month or so? Does mac log internet info somewhere that will start bogging down my comp after awhile?

To keep your Mac clean, i suggest using OnyX. It deletes all that stuff for you
