Problem! Please help!

Hi guys. First of all, I just want to let you all know that I completely suck at anything computer related.
Obviously Macintosh computers are included.

And a couple of months ago, for no explained reason, these very thin lines started appearing on my computer screen. At first it was just one very thin, string like baby blue line going across the screen from top to bottom. It flicked on and off and at one point just stuck there forever.
It got a girlfriend soon, as a pink line became permanent in my monitor aswell.
And now a second baby blue line is there, making a total of three very annoying thin lines on my monitor.
Since I'd have to be computerless for a while what with the monitor and computer hardware being one and the same, I haven't taken it anywhere to get looked at yet, I was really hoping I could solve this issue without leaving my home.

Has this ever happened to anyone else here? Is there anything I can do?

Are we talking about an iMac then?

Um... what every kind of computer it is it seems the monitor is no good. Hopefully its not a imac because i doubt you'll be able to replace it

Second... Hum... I think it's an iMac? It's like a Mac computer, and the hardware is inside the monitor... I'm so sorry for sounding so dumb about this.

Should I take it to a store...or something?

You could try talking to Apple about it.
