I'm having a quite specific question about the MacBook Pro packaging, and I'm hoping someone is able to answer this for me.
I bought a MacBook Pro recently and there have been some problems with it. I managed to get a replacement machine, but now I'm wondering whether some identification numbers such as serial numbers will not match with the other parts and the packaging.
Can someone give me some insight on how identification numbers of the MacBook Pro and its packaging and other contents are related to each other?

I have an invoice indeed, but it only states the MacBook Pro serial number.
