Hi, I need to open documents on my PC that were made on my Mac, I also would like video files as well. The documents were saved as a normal Microsoft Word document, and I need to attach and open in email, what's a free way that I can open these files?

Greyspot is correct, if you are talking about files that are viewable on both a Mac and a PC, then there's nothing special that needs to be done, just transfer them over and open them, as long as you have the appropriate software (ex. Office or Photoshop). There are very few file types that don't transfer well, but the vast majority will transfer and open just fine.

Depend on what you are saving them to.
If you save them to an external drive or flash drive then format as fat32.
Mac and windows both read/write to that.
Also,
you can open word docs on a pc with word or free openoffice/neooffice etc.

If you want to open a document you created in Pages to Word, you will have to convert it into a .doc format. Here's what you do: Click on File, select Export, and then select Word from the list. Pages will then convert the file over so that you can open it in Word.
