NilObjectException error appears while installing Silverfast Ai Studio software for Microtek Artixscan M1 scanner on iMac running Leopard OS. Any help would be appreciated.

I installed sortware.Thing was that I have to be root to install it.Now software runing just under root account.How can I make that other users can use it too?
