Apple claims that your system can be "maxed" out at 1.5 GB RAM. That doesn't mean you can't get it to work with more...

Is that what you mean by "fully capable" of?

The only way to go over 1.5GB Ram in that machine is 1GB PC133 Modules. First thing I am told they will not work and 2nd they would be very expensive even if they would.

Since it uses a 733Mhz G4 it's more than likely either a Power Mac Digital Audio.

Or a Quicksilver.

Max RAM is 3 PC133 512Meg Dimms. With the Internal IDE controller there is a 128GB limit, of you can purchase a PCI ATA IDE card and use any sized IDE hard drive. For a Video Card you can purchase a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro but that is quite expensive. You can also purchase an after market CPU up to a 1.8Ghz G4 but again, a lot of $$$ when an Intel Mini will still blow it away in speed even after the mods. I would upgrade the RAM to 1.5GB and maybe a larger Hard Drive and see how it works for you.

Check OWC for any of the upgrades as they are very good company specializing in Macs with decent prices.

Good points from dtravis7! If you have any USB peripherals, I would add a USB card, the G4 towers were stuck with USB 1.1 which is miserable compared to USB 2.0.
