what do ya'll think of the new itunes 8.0 i personally don't like it because the new update got rid of the songs view

There are in the same place they have always been. Did you update through software update or did you update through another method.

See that little icon in the toolbar? That says View? Experiment with that a bit.

Was mp3 encoding completely removed from iTunes or is it hidden? iTunes 8 is a nice upgrade but I want to convert audio into mp3 not an aac file.

It's now on the General Tab under Import Settings down toward the bottom.

I Think its okay, but there has been so many little updates with Itunes Its not really that noticable.
Having said that I do like the album view.

I haven't got a chance to use genius yet, What are peoples thoughts on it?
