Yahoo Messenger for Mac malfunctioning?

I don't know what's wrong with it. I just downloaded it fifteen or twenty minutes ago from Apple.com, installed it, entered my account information and until this moment it says 'Signing In' but nothing appears, I even get messages from my friends, like chat windows come up and I can chat and every thing, but I still can not see my buddy list and stuff. Can any one help me? Stupid Yahoo!
