I thought that everyone love their macs as much as I do. but I've recently encountered 3 people with a somewhat new mac (3-4months) and it is filthy with smudges of all kinds and full of scratches and dents. I just don't get it.
So my question is, do you guys treat your macs well?
or you just don't care, and if not why?

I love mine, and I want to keep it as clean as possible, but it will get dirty. It will get scratched. It will get dented. It just happens.

I love my MacBook Pro, but I guess the silver color sucks, I always find like dirt and uncool stuff on it, I can easily wipe them off using a tissue or something though. I don't like dirty laptops, or I'd look bad when I am at college :D.

I carry mine with me everywhere I go and wipe it down with anti bacterial wipes. Mine has the Invisible Shield on it, and it's just simply amazing.

I love my MBP, however the slightest smudge makes it's sleek aluminum body look awful, I spend more time cleaning it than working on it!

My MBP is in one of those hard plastic (Speck Products) shells to keep it purdy. So far, so good!

scooter, how come you only got 256 MB graphics card when your processor is 2.6 GHz? Mine's a 2.5 and it came with 512 MB graphics card, isn't that weird? Let's switch! Haha.

I bought this one refurbed from Apple just before the new Macbook Pro's were released. (Like, the Saturday before the release on Monday/Tuesday) I did end up getting about $500+ dollars back due to the drop in the old ones prices, so that made me happy!:D

That's pretty neat. Apple stores in my country wouldn't do that even if the price dropped a thousand bucks. Lol!

Whether it's a new mobile phone, or my ipod, macbook or anything that retains some value whether sentimental, etc, I find it's best just to drop it or something on it's first day so you get over that initial paranoi thing... it's like brand new white trainers, they're gonna get scuffed so delaying the inevitable just makes it that more painful. :(

No >_<" I would never do anything like that to my poor Mac. Besides it's not like there aren't ways to prevent scratches and I would never throw or drop things that cost over 1 grand. >_>"

My wife treats the MBP like crap.
You should see here cell phone.

But what does it matter anyway. It's just a computer. You can still view your porn even if the screen is smudged.
