I am putting another 500gb in my mac pro and I just wanted to make sure i get the right HDD.

Do I go for a Sata II or a Sata 300?

Also, I need to make my mac pro wireless. I was thinking of just buying a airport extreme card but a comment on apple website said it doesn't work with Mac Pros?

Thanks for your help

As long as the drive is backward compatible(they are anyways) you can hook up a SATA 300 drive to a original SATA controller and vise versa. It'l as good as IDE was in the day. You could hook a ATA133 drive up to a 486 computer and it'd work. cheers
