Re-Formatting an ipod

Hi,

I have just recently switched from PC to Mac.

I have a 160GB ipod classic that was formatted on my old PC. I notice that when i plug the ipod into the new MacBook it states "only Macintosh formatted ipods can be updated"!!

How can i re-format my ipod to Mac please?

Use the Restore function in iTunes (select your iPod in the devices list, Restore button will appear in the right pane)

iTunes will wipe your iPod completely so make sure it's contents exist in your Macbook before you format it.
