Verizon, why do you hold me back?

Verizon bums me out. Sure, they have great coverage and good talking quality just about everywhere, but that's where it stops. Why must I pay an extra $5 here, an extra $10 there, an extra $30 over yonder?

I'm most bummed about the fact that my BlackBerry's GPS is, while fully functional within the Verizon network, disabled by Verizon for every application except for it's $10/mo VZ Navigator software. What a pain, here I am with Garmin's BB software and I can't even use it without an external GPS receiver.

Sigh... the things that one trades for good service.

Well, "you get what you pay for" I guess applies. Sure it would be nice if everything was cheaper, but service would eventually end up suffering for it.
