- 17 inch 2 GHz C2D imac (5,1) with 3GB DDR2 RAM, X1600 (128MB memory) GPU - OSX 10.6.3
I have a white 17 inch white imac. With an alu keyboard I have bought later. Nice keyboard. Just one little issue with it. The F keys. They work just fine for changing the settlings like sound volume and expose and all those little nifty things.
But I have a few programs and emulators (Dos box and fusion). And in some of the apps I use there I require the use of a particular F key. And the F key when pressed in the particular program, well the F key works just as it does in OS X. Opening expose or whatever. And this over rides the F key press for the program. So in short the F keys do not work for any program as they do on less fancy keyboards.
Is there a way to fix this so the F keys work as they should?
