I looked on Wikipedia and a couple of websites, but nothing too specific.

It's supposed to be a simpler, cleaner-running version of Leopard. They are trying to make it smaller in size, quicker to boot, and more efficient.

Anybody know details/specifics?

Thanks,

All deadly secret. Only rumour to emerge is PPC is dead in the water and you must have Intel and possibly multi core machines at that.

Sounds like they are Vista'ing minimum requirements. :D

Yes, but improving the quality of the product, not making the product so big that it needs those system requirements but adding technology that will only work on those requirements.

Why not?

I'll be getting it. And I'm looking forward to this more than I was Leopard. And the quicktime X thing that's supped to launch with snow leopard. That I really want to know. Well what that's all about.

We can always dream but I seriously doubt that it will be free for leopard users. Maybe an upgrade? Which we will have to pay for.

If not that totally need to do a clean install. >_<"

if it were to be an update it would defat the purpose i think..
it wont be not much of a change in looks but it will be so much greater in every detail i cant even dream of it because by far leopard is build for two kinds of processors and it is working flawlessly imagine how would it be if it were only for intel..
and as the name being a metaphor snow leopard, check this creature up i think we can assume the os will be much more secure and faster if thats even possible:D
