When running windows with bootcamp I am frequently disconnected from my network as if I have unplugged something, although my roommate is still connected just fine. We're connected wirelessly and the wireless connection will just have that red x on it for a few seconds/minutes, or until i click on it and reconnect to our network. I have the latest bootcamp and windows updates, so what could be going wrong? This doesn't seem to occur when I'm running in OS X.

Are you using any kind of security? (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) If you're using a secure connection, you might try turning it off and running in the clear to see if the same thing occurs. No security? Check all your airport settings to make sure they're entered properly.

Regards.

It appears to be WPA security. I have no idea what this means or how to turn it off though.
