I'm trying to look for good tutorials or instructions on learning flash mx. I have barely any clue how to use it. Does anyone have any sources? Either free or really cheap? Thanks.

Here are a couple more in addition to flashkit.com that have tutorials and good forums:

www.actionscript.org
www.kirupaforum.com
www.webwasp.co.uk
www.cartoonsmart.com check out the free ones here, especially if you are just starting/beginner

Have fun, Flash can get really involved but it is very pleasing when you get the results you want.

If you want to see a Chicago Cubs photo gallery I did all in Flash then check this out:
the intro page is cheesy because the gallery is in a popup window that will popup even with popup blocker on (hehe).

http://rberry883.home.comcast.net/firstintro.html

It even features a short looping song I made with Garageband (amateur stuff, LOL).

WOW!!!
I have been working with Adobe GoLive. Have heard great things about Flash. After seeing your work, I really need to consider switching.

Any other sites you have done? Would like to see what a professional site should be!!

I'm not a professional, just a casual experimenter.

Just work through some of the tutorials and you'll get the hang of it in no time. I don't have any actual flash 'sites' that are live right now but I'll see if I can dig up some old ones I did for fun later.
