Hi!
I was doing some work on mi mac when i get a message saying that i was getting out of space in my hard drive. This sound impossible to me because for that moment my hard drive had 5Gb of free space. I check the properties of my hd and i was losing space has time went by. I went from 5Gb of free space to 0 in less than 5 min.

I run Onyx and only get back 20 mg.

is there any other thing to do?
thanks for the help

Plenty you can do:

1. Remove what you no longer need.

2. Buy an external drive and off load all your iTunes music and videos to it.

3. Install a larger hard drive in your machine.

Regards.

Seems to me like you have either some spyware which is very unlikely, a nasty cookie, or a screwed up cache. Those can eat up HD space quick. I think I'm starting to get the same problem as well. Everyday I lose about 1.2 GB of space for no reason, even when I leave my Mac off. Keep in mind Apple doesn't actually manufacture the hard drives.
