iPhone cable issues.

iMac Core i5(3.6 GHz) 8 GB RAM, MBP C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 4 GB RAM, MB C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 2 GB RAM
So I'm pulling my ipod cable out of the wall adapter, and the cover for the USB head rips off, plus the wire tears a bit. That is shoddy manufacturing, I wasn't applying that much pressure. Do you think thats covered in the warranty?

The actual plug itself is under recall, new ones are due out next month that will be free replacements, I would go get one and take your cable with you so that they can take a look. If you're within the warranty period I would say they would replace it free of charge. If not in warranty, I would think they'd replace it anyway because that shouldn't happen.
