Help! I sliced my MagSafe cord!

today I sliced my MagSafe cord on accident and so my power supply is not working. does anyone know if the cord can be spliced back together?

With the right tools you can put it back together. My buddy had to use the 2M bench at my job to do it. Very small wire + shielding was a pain in the da butt.

Go buy a new one.

Agreed. It's also a huge fire hazard.

That's a function of whether you know what you are doing or not.

In either case, it's a huge PIA because of the teensy wires and steady hand needed.

You may want to disconnect the wire from the wall outlet before trying it ;)

Buying a new one would also be my suggestion, since i'm all thumbs
