I have a Mac Pro 2X Dual core Xeon that really seems to run hot.

I run the iStat widget and continually see the following temps (All F.)

Mem modules 140-160
Mem banks 100-110
Power supplys 110-120
and most worrying: Northbridge memory controller 175-180

All this with an ambient temp of 70-74.

Don't these temps seem a little high. Won't I get less life from the components? Right now system is about 19 months old, and I leave it on 24/7.

Thoughts/suggestions welcome.

Joe
