Some of the polls below have me wondering...do maccers tend to drive a particular car? Prius, maybe? VW bug?

A while ago the honda civic was sort of the (stereotypical) PC car of choice, maybe because it was rumored that grand poobah himself Bill Gates owned/s one...and, it kind of speaks to the microsoft aesthetic of efficiency sans flair (yeah, yeah, another stereotype).

What do you think? I think Mac's tend to appeal more to socially conscious people and/or design freaks (ie, Prius etc people) but maybe that's because my circle of friends tends to be those sorts of people, too.

Thought about making this a poll but have NO idea what the choices should be...

I'm on my 4th Jeep. 3 of which were Wrangler style. But I'm all grown up now and moved on to a Grand Cherokee, heh heh. For commuting I use a Ducati ST2, 45mpg.

I have seen many mac users drive a VW but I personally drive a 95 Dodge Neon. Total junker but it's a diamond in the rough and I plan to fix it up =]

If I'm going off of cars that I've seen the Apple logos on, it would be the Toyota Prius by a wide margin.

Oddly enough, I see lots of Apple logos on really beat up cars as well.

The Prius is ugly on the outside. It's nice on the inside though.

Interesting, answers are kinda all over the map. The Prius and/or junky thing kind of holds some water, tho, I think.

The Prius is ugly on the outside. It's nice on the inside though.

That's kind of what I was getting at in my post. I was considering buying a Mini a while back and came across their carfunfootprint.com website. I have this theory that mac people tend to weigh stuff like cars out between aesthetics and then (in the case of cars anyway) environmental impact (that's sort of the purpose of the mini carfun site, too -- it scores cars based on both those factors). This isn't an across the board statement but something I've noticed at least within the "mac geek" circle of friends I have. The ones that are willing to sacrifice a little outside ugliness do drive the Prius. Well, if they can afford it.

They also think the Prius looks like a big ipod, which is KINDA true I guess...

Isn't that the Turkish flag? I'm pretty certain that it is.. but if it isn't my bad.. I would assume that he/she lives in Turkey(or Morocco). And the with EU license plate, but I can't read what it says..

Battered '94 Fiesta here.

I have two Apple stickers... but they're sticky on the back, so if I stick them in the window it'd be the wrong way round right? So no Apple sticker til I figure that one out or find another one more specifically for car windows :).

I drive a beat up S-10.

I think you find all walks of life with Apple stickers on their cars. You have the "art people" (the rich folks that buy art) with expensive cars that like the Mac for it's exclusivity, and the "artists" (the folks that make art) who drive the beaters and economy cars that like the Mac as an art tool.

I fall into the latter category. ;)
