I'm at my wits end here.
Went to apple on Tuesday cause my Touch would not shut down. They said that they would replace, but don't have any in stock, fair enough. I get a call today, they have one, I drive down and pick it up. Cool...
NOT!
I plug it in to my PC to update to load the backup onto it. It updates, then says it needs to be restored. So I restore it, then it says that itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode and needs to restore.
I have restored it 4 times.
I read that there is an issue with the driver, and the letter needs to be changed, but m ipod does not show up in "My Computer" or in the "Device Manager" but it shows up in iTunes.
I hook it up to my MBP, and the same thing happens, it is stuck in the recovery mode.
Any help? I do not want to drive 30 minutes to the apple store for the 3rd day in a row!
