Permissions

Hi all

I need some help with this error.

When i repair permissions i get the following.

ACL found but not expected on "private/var/root/library/preferences".
ACL found but not expected on "private/var/root/library".
ACL found but not expected on "private/var/root".

Can anyone tell me how to fix it please.

im going through the same thing but with a couple different actual permission errors. its telling me that they have been modified and can't be repaired. Check my post out its a couple down and see if your getting the same error messages as me.

I was told to run the **** utility from the OSX **** but that didn't work or me. perhaps that will be the fix for you though
