HELP! wacom drawing tablet with 8 pin serial connector

Is it possible to connect my Wacom ARTZ II drawing tablet with an 8 pin serial connector using a Keyspan Dual 8 pin to USB connector? I have an iMac with 2.8 GHz Intel Core Duo running OS X 10.5.4
Any ideas/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't actually tried it, but one frustrated ARTZ 12X12 owner supposedly wrote his own software after analyzing everything available from Wacom with reference to the serial tablets and OS X. The end product is called "TABLETMAGIC" and I'm going to drag my ARTZ out of the closet one of these days and try it myself. You do need that USB to Serial cable. The software is offered by the author as Freeware here:
