Black Borders Question?

I know it might be a simple answer, but what is the easiest way to put the black borders on photos in photoshop, such as the one below?

Hi there, I think one of the easiest options is to create a new layer in Photoshop and on this layer create a rectangle with black fill. Move this layer underneath the photo and resize as needed to make the edges appear. You might need to either enlarge the canvas size or make the photo smaller to fit on the page.
Another option is to create an outer glow by double clicking on the layer. Make the spread high and size low (you can also customize colour to black like your attached pic).

I think a much easier way is to-

Select > All

Edit > Stroke

Then select color and width.

Done! Never used the other methods, but the one above sure is quick and easy.

Done! Never used the other methods, but the one above sure is quick and easy.
