single user in a low noise environment. i would be using this to take text notes while reading a pdf book.

anyone have experiences on how reliable it is??

I do...and its VERY reliable. As close to 100 percent as you're going to get. Its one weakness is that it lacks a Spelling feature that allows you to spell individual words, proper names or cognates ("four" instead of "for," for instance).

From its debut, the MacSpeech folks have promised a free update that will add this feature. I decided to get it early to train it and get used to it. Glad I did. It's incredibly accurate, and I don't work in a low-noise environment.

Highly recommended.
