Hello,

I was work on a G4 dual processor. I have a Maxtor portable harddrive plugged in with Final Cut Pro files on it. The power went out and the computer won't read my harddrive no matter what I do. I've unplugged it, restarted the computer. I plugged my Maxor in my Powerbook and it appeared on the desktop, so I know it's not the portable Maxtor.

What went wrong and more importantly, how I get my G4 to read the hardrive again? I need to get back to editing.

Thanks,
Tom

Check to see if it is showing up in Disk Utility....Also try another Firewire device to see if something is wrong with the Firewire card in the G4
