Built in webcam on MacBook

I just purchased a MacBook, the 2.4 Ghz, 2 GB RAM $1300 one. I took a couple pictures on photo booth yesterday to just test it out. I just turned my computer on and the green light next the camera is one and when i open up photo booth, the screen is black and when i take a picture it comes out black.


What is the deal here?

try restarting.
the green light shouldn't be on normally until you start photobooth or something that uses the camera.

if that doesn't work, you may just have a bum camera. you may need to take it in.

I just shut it down, took out the battery and put it back it. The light went off. Hopefully it stays that way.
