LOL! Thats awesome! That would likely mean that of the nastiest parts of the DRM wouldn't even work correctly if they didn't recode the game for OS X.

Yes... they actually are using Cider, which is a commercial variant of WINE used to completely self-enclose a game in the WINE environment, rather than how Crossover works in the background.

The link seems fine.

I still want to know why the GMA950 performs more than adequately for may games under WinXP, but under OS X, it's even worse than it needs to be. Spore, Civ IV, Quake IV etc.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Windows assigns more RAM to the GMA950 (128 instead of 96 or something like that)...

Cider doesn't support that chipset. Simple as that.
