Transferring iTunes Purchases Across Accounts...

Is it possible for me to transfer all the purchases i've made on one iTunes account onto another? It's just that up until now i've used my dad's iTunes account to download songs, however, now I want to make my own account but I don't want to lose my hundred or so tracks that i've downloaded. Anyone got any ideas?

That's something I've always wondered too. The email address for my iTunes login isn't used any more, but I can't close it because of iTunes, so have also wondered about transferring purchases.

For question 2, does Itunes let you change that in account information
