Keynote question

How do I convert my Keynote presentation to an extension (.ppt) that will open on a PC powerpoint program? i know how to export my presentation, and yes the powerpoint option comes up and is then saved as ".ppt", but when someone tries to open the file on a PC, it won't open.

Am I missing something here, or is there another way that I don't know of..? Or is it just not possible at all?

Way... way too many specs to list.
it's a .ppt. Does the person trying to open it have powerpoint installed? This would be the most common reason for it failing to open (not installed)
