Hi guy's. How do I change the 'kind' that a file is. For instance, I work with .sql files (basically text files) and I could always quickview them. I now installed a program that open those files and it now see the kind of file as a 'sql source' and I can't quickview them any more? I have the same problem with lots of other files (.wsdl, xsd, etc) that is basically text files but I can't quickview them (or search them) because they are seen as 'Unix Executables'

Any help appreciated.

you can right click the .sql files and associate them with a program with the Open with button

Just find the program you are comfortable with and see if it lets you preview the files
