I am trying to help a coworker with her mini mac.
I need to reset the login password. I booted from the install CD and selected reset password from the hard drive.
I chose one of the users (appower) and put in a new password of 1234. There were several users to choose from.
When I reboot it doesn't take the password.
I booted into the install CD again and when I select Reset Password from the hard drive I now have no users to choose from.
I usually work on PCs. This is the first Mac I've worked on.
Anybody have an suggestions on how to login.
And NO, it is not a stolen Mac. The coworker was given the mac from her cousin whose kids used to use it.
