Open iPhoto pics in PS

I just got Photoshop for my Mac, and I was wondering how do I open my pictures from iPhoto in Photoshop?

2010 Macbook Pro, 8g RAM, iPhone 6, iPad Mini, Apple TV
In iPhoto preferences, select PS for your external editor. Then when in iPhoto, you select a photo to edit, PS will automatically open, and when you are finished and save your edits, iPhoto will put the photo right back where it belongs.
