RAM for power mac g5

Want to get some more. Is it all the same stuff ie pc3200, ddr sdram, 184 pin ?

or is it possible to get the wrong thing?

Okay, what kind of G5 do you specifically have? What processor speed and number of processors is a start. I don't think anybody here wants to give bad information but a bit more from you is going to help us all out quite a bit.

Sorry, it's a dual 2ghz, currently with 1.5 gb of ram

No worries. Managed to work out from the crucial site it was ddr2. Dirt cheap on there too.

Same machine as mine

And the memory prices keep on dropping for sure. I've installed some G.Skill sticks in mine and it's pretty darn sweet that it's running me $60 for 2 gigs currently. I noticed a nice jump in performance going from 1GB to 6 GB so hopefully you'll be happy with the upgrade.
