I'm getting really annoyed with my dock. Firefox used to be on it and I was trying to click something on the bottom of itunes and by accident I moved firefox out of my dock and I want to get it back in.

So how do I remove things like applications in and out of the dock????
Thanks!!!

Drag and drop, my friend. Drag and drop.

Go into your Finder and click "Applications" on the right. Find Firefox. Click and drag the Firefox icon down to the dock. You should be able to just drop it in there.

Alternate method: open up Firefox from the Applications list. You should be able to see it appear in your dock. Right click (or Control-Click) on the icon and select "Keep in Dock." You can also drag it to another position in the dock and it will stay put when you close the app.

Oh, and to remove an app from the Dock, quit the application (if it is open) and drag it away from the dock. Let go of the mouse button and it should go poof.

I hope that helps.
