I've never really thought of that. From the short time I've been here, it kind of looks like equal.

Although it is very hard to tell.. I think that it is very close, but probably a little bit more boys here... But I could be wrong, and would love to be proven wrong..

My guess would be more guys, but probably not by too much. It would be interesting to see the actual numbers.

It doesn't really matter. If you would like to know post a poll but don't forget to add an option of "prefer not to say". There are some people who really don't want anybody to know because they don't wanted to be treated differently

in my experience it seems like there are certainly more active male members than female members, though for a "tech" site, the female population seems high for sure.

part of the reason the place seems to attract and keep a high female population is for sure the respectful and mostly mature (regardless of actual age) male population and strict moderation that keeps the riff-raff to a minimum.

Hear, hear (or read, read :D) Eric! Some other Mac forum 'posters' could learn from the courtesy that usually emanates from this particular site.

I'm a guy but I am suprised by the number of girls on the site. I'd still prolly say more guys though. A poll would be good, I see no need for prefer not to say though because If they prefer not to say then they wouldn't post...surely?
