I don't want anyone accessing my files from another user account so I set my home folders permissions to "no access" for everyone.

But there is item in my home folder that I would like other accounts to have access to - my movies folder, so my friends can watch on TV with Front Row.

Is there a way for other users access this folder, and just this folder, while keeping the rest of the files in my home folder locked?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

The problem is that Front Row looks in the logged in users Movies folder for content. You can try putting the movies in /Users/Shared and then putting aliases of them in each of your /Users/username/Movies folder.
