Why I can only recognize 3GB memory in my WinXP using BootCamp but my
iMac 20" has 4GB installed memory? Any idea why?

Because you're using a 32-bit edition of Windows XP, which can only address 3.3GB of RAM - and possibly less depending on how much video ram your graphics card has.

Leopard has full 64-bit support, so it can address all of your memory.
