How easy is it to take presentations, movies, etc. from Windows based PC to the Mac and import to iLife? Does it require external software or is the conversion automatic when you copy the file from one machine to the other? I have some assignments I have done that involve making movies or slide presentations with music and I want to be able to look at them on a mac with iLife but I'm not sure it can be done.

Depends on the file format.

Some will import straight away, others may need converting first.
