I'm planning to buy two iPhones for my wife and I and was wondering what the average Cellphone bill is for two lines on a Family shared plan (whichever you us).

It's all right there on the AT&T website. It will cost you whatever voice plan you want. Plus $30 each iPhone for data. Plus whatever text message plan you want, $5 for 200. Here are what the family plans cost for 2 lines.

Nice thank you for the info. I was just wondering what was your average bill out the door? I know the current price's for shared family plan, what I was wondering is what you pay with all the surcharges they (AT&T) tack on. My current plan with sprint is 1400 shared with two phones for 89.99 + $20 Unlimited internet (2 phones), $5.00 text message and $14.00 phone insurance and I'm out the door with surcharges and tax with a $190 monthly cellphone plan. So it's almost double original 89.99 advertised plan. So my question is if AT&T Shared plan for 129.99 going to double with data+text+insurance+surcharges+tax to almost double that for 2 phones.

Those prices are per month??

That's terrible, using a cell phone seems to be very expensive in the USA.

Here in Austria I have 1000 mins network internal, 1000 mins to mailbox, 1000 mins to all other networks, 1000 mins to landline, 1000 sms and 3gb download for €45/month. (of course i dont pay for incoming calls or sms (which i believe is sometimes the case in the USA?)).

Wow - another factor in deciding whether to get the iPhone. I currently pay $54 and change which includes 300 day minutes, unlimited (after 6pm) nights and weekends, unlimited internet and 200 text messages. To practically double my monthly fee and not have all the programs I want just to have an iPhone..................I am not so sure about that now.

I'm on Sprint SERO now, just paid my bill. Total: $33.57 for 500 minutes, unlimited data, unlimited text, and unlimited nights and weekends. Plus I get REV.A EVDO speeds. I want an iPhone, but I can't justify it. :*( I'll guess I'm stuck with an iTouch.
