Hi all. I have a 13" MacBook. I got it for my birthday in June this year. My little sister gets to my Mac sometimes when I'm not looking and gets her fingerprints on the screen. What's a free way I can clean my screen?

Thanks in advance - Keith!

I either use windex and a cloth or eye glasses cleaner and a cloth. Nothing too fancy and gets the finger prints away.

Speaking of finger prints. I tell this to my friends all the time, is it really necessary to touch the screen every time you point to something? Can you not just point to it without touching the screen????

Follow these general rules when cleaning the screen.

* Shut down your MacBook, detach the power adapter, and remove the battery.
* Dampen a clean, soft, lint-free cloth or paper with water only and wipe the screen. Do not spray liquid directly on the screen.

Thanks, problem solved. And I agree with you, everyone touches it. I hate it, then I get mad and they think I'm a spazz.
