I'm using Excel 2008 for Mac. I have a document with cells containing about a page worth of html code. The data in those cells is being replaced with a string of "###..." When I click in the cell I can see the html in the formula box, but not in the document itself. This becomes an issue when I try to save the document as as Windows formatted .csv file. All the code in those cells is then actually replaced with "#" My data is lost in the resulting .csv file. I know in an older version of Excel for Mac it did not do this. How can I turn this auto formatting function off?
