• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Dear all,

I need to compose a serie of about 50 pictures with different entries (possibly), 2 pieces of songs and modify the volume of them, and to add some text in between.
The result should come up like a video thing.

Which software freeware do you suggest to better use?

thanks to everybody

Sounds like a very simple job, i would just use imovie

if you want to go a bit more complex then use Final Cut Express

I had to do a movie project at work the other day including text and music, found out I could give everybody else at work the (false) impression I was a movie guru using one mornings practice and research

Can I rotate a movie clip?

I've used iMovie so much, if anyone needs tutorials ask me. I use it almost every day.

Hi KeithTeeple, wonder if you can help. I recorded a short video clip on my camera and imported it into iMovie. The clip needs to be rotated 90 degrees. I've downloaded a plug-in called Turn Clip which is supposed to do this (I use iMovie HD on an iBook G4 under Tiger) but I can't figure out how to make it work. Can you help? Thanks.

Later: sorry, I should have been more persistent, I've just worked it out myself.
