hello, i have been recently looking to purchase a new macbook. i want to get the most for money so this is what i am looking at. refurbished macbook 2.4 ghz ( white ) 160gb hd 5400rpm and 2gb memory. sells for about 1149$ on apple. or the lower version the 2.1 ghz 1gb memory and 120gb hd . sells for 949$.after i buy this im looking to upgrade the memory to 4gb and harddrive to an 250gb hd 7200 rpm. i was just wondering what you think would be a better buy the 2.4ghz (which also includes the superdrive ) or the 2.1ghz ( which does NOT include the superdrive ). i will be using this for some photo/video editing, web page building, some light gaming, and the usuall mainstream things. :)

I would go for the 2.1ghz unless you need a superdrive ofcourse.

I don't see how there would be any difference.

There's no noticeable performance difference.
