missing imovie 08 when tranfered files to a new mac

I recently bought a new 8 core MacPro (leopard)and completed the firewire tranfer files and applications from my Macbook pro (tiger). Everything was successfully transfered except ilife. I had ilife 06 on the new mac. Shouldn't it automatically have 08 since it comes with leopard? Well..after doing some trouble shooting, searched for software updates and was able to update and install ilife 08. After restarting my MacPro ilife 06 was updatd to 08 except for imovie. Weird....iphoto, iweb, were updated to 08 except for imovie. Does anyone know why and how can i fix it. Thoughts are greatly appreciated.
