Hi:

Just switched over from Linux a little while ago, and I have a question.

I have a few "dotfiles" (notably .vimrc) that I would like Time Machine to back up. It seems that Time Machine will only back these up if they're visible in the finder. Is that correct?

Is there any way to get them backed up without having them show in the finder?

Thanks,

Doug

Ok, didn't know that. I guess if I want to restore them, I'll have to make them visible in the finder for the length of the restore.

Thanks.
