Hi,

Normally I would use Split and Contact to split and reassemble files on OS X.
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9545/split&concat

But now I have another issue I don't know exactly how to solve.
One of my friends has a file. A home movie they made. And they edited it and all. But they want to break up the movie file into parts and send me the parts to reassemble and watch.

The only catch is he has XP. So I'll need two things:

1. A way of splitting up files on XP.
2. A way of merging these parts to a whole file again both on OS X and XP. As it'll be the same parts sent to the various OSes.

If this was OS X -> OS X it's easy. But I'm not so good at finding verious apps and programs for XP -> XP and XP -> OS X things.

A big thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. I'd be really grateful.
